Background

7X, the leading group in trade, transport, and logistics, launched ADEED Finance, a digital platform powered by its fintech arm FINTX that links the financing needs of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) with banks and financial institutions.

ADEED Finance sits within the wider ADEED ecosystem, the UAE Supply Chain Support Platform, and extends support beyond logistics to financing tied to commercial activity and supply chains.

The platform handles referrals for trade finance, working capital, supply chain finance, receivables and invoice financing, letters of credit, bank guarantees, and Sharia-compliant solutions. Each institution sets its own products, eligibility rules, and assessment criteria.

The first phase brings together First Abu Dhabi Bank, Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, Emirates NBD, National Bank of Fujairah, and Numou.

Tariq Al Wahedi, Group CEO of 7X, said resilient economies need adaptable supply chains and businesses with the tools to meet commitments and grow. He said ADEED Finance links operational needs with financial solutions and helps SMEs contribute to national value chains and the UAE’s competitiveness.

Malaz Mubaid, CEO of FINTX, said the platform gives businesses and banks a clear, structured point of contact. He said it presents each request with its commercial context and required documents, and it leaves credit decisions fully with each institution.

Businesses often need funds to buy materials and inventory, fulfill orders, manage collections, finance imports, or expand. The platform captures these needs digitally and routes applications to participating institutions based on their products.
